I collaboration with Simone Bauhuis I’ve created a fictional design symposium dedicated to Slow Design. Simone and I thought that graphic design was too often used to create visual overstimulation. Slow Design is a branch of the Slow Movement, the overarching goal of Slow Design is to promote well being for individuals, society, and the natural environment. In our symposium the main goal was to attract designers of all categories and give them a inspiring and especially calming experience over the course of a few days. Our design was especially inspired by white space and nature, which we think have a calming influence.
