About me.
Hello! I’m Esther. In the summer of 2016 I graduated as a bachelor of arts (B.A.) from the AKV | St. Joost art academy. Soon after my graduation I started working as a graphic designer for GRS Retail. I’ve had a lot of experience in the work field during internships in both the Netherlands and England. Besides that I’ve done (and still am doing) a lot of freelance graphic design work, I’ve been a promo student at the AKV | St. Joost art academy and I’ve been a volunteer at the Graphic Design Festival in Breda.
What I enjoy doing the most is shaking things up a little bit. To make people aware. Concept is the most important part of design. Instead of creating just a form, you have to create a platform. However it’s important that what you make is esthetic, I could create distorted imagery but I’ll always align everything in such a way that it’s visually pleasing and sensible. I am also very interested in motion design, video editing (also check out my Vimeo account!) and am completely familiair with Adobe creative suite (especially Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Premiere Pro), html, css and WordPress. And I am ofcourse excited to learn about anything else!
